Content: This page contains background information on our Lt. Governor, and the Lt. Governor's Goals.

My name is Tom Lester and I am proud to serve you as Lt. Governor for Division 27 for 2007 - 2008.
I will do my best as Lt. Governor but I need your help and input to reach the established goals for the coming year:

• 10% growth (32 new members)
• Promote spiritual growth by:
• continuing to start all club functions with prayer
• greater involvement by all clubs in the Annual Prayer Breakfast
• Greater support both financially and through volunteerism of Kiwanis Family House
• Recognize Non-Kiwanis members of our communities as "Citizens of Service"
• All clubs support the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation and Kiwanis International
• All clubs support the Pediatric Trauma Program
• Encourage clubs that are not currently Incorporated to do so and to obtain
insurance rider policies to protect club officers.
• Encourage clubs to continue their good work with our youth groups.
• Encourage clubs to earn their Distinguished Club status
• Establish a team to help clubs create successful fund raising projects.

FUN - FAMILY - SERVICE is my motto for the this year; fun being the key.
As a volunteer service organization it's difficult to convince folks to show up to meetings or anything else if we aren't having fun.
Family is the connection we have with each other as a club and a division. This, in my view, is part of the fun as well.
Service becomes easy when we do our projects and fund raisers with our families all the while having FUN!

As I visit each of your clubs during the year I promise to be open to your suggestions and support you in every way possible.

Your support of me is also important for us to become a successful Division and I look forward to working with you this year.

Lt. Governor Tom Lester has informed us that the Trustee Elections are over and thanked all those who attended. Rae Whitby-Brummer is our Delta Region (16) Trustee for the next three years. The election went extremely smooth and Rae was announce as our Trustee by 10:30; Congratulations Rae!
