FUTURE PROGRAMS

The Stockton Club supports the six objectives of Kiwanis:

  1. To give primacy to the human and spiritual values rather than the material values of life.
  2. To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
  3. To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards.
  4. To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship
  5. To provide, through Kiwanis Clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.
  6. To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and good will.

A letter from a former scholarship winner:

Dear Stockton Kiwanis Club, I was awarded a scholarship from your organization as a graduating high school senior in 2006. Since then, I've graduated UC Berkeley as a political science major in 2010 and I'm currently in my first year of law school at UCLA School of Law. I just wanted to give you a quick update and also thank you for your support. I wouldn't be where I am today without your support and encouragement at the beginning of my academic career.

Best wishes for a very happy new year and know that your organization positively impacts young people's lives!

Sincerely,
Leana Taing
